James Rowe has been training with Fitness Enhancement in the Gold Coast studio for nine months and is still enjoying every session.
Coming back from injury
James used to train on his own up until about two years ago, when he got an injury that made him take some time off from training. This year he decided to get back into it, he wanted to get into the best shape of his life and decided that he needed help from a professional trainer to make sure to not flare up the old injury and to give the training his all. He also had a specific goal of reaching 15 % body fat which he is still working towards and not too far away from.
Meeting the challenge
James enjoys the challenge of training and by having a Personal Trainer he gets challenged that extra step more than if he trained alone. With a Trainer by your side you cannot “chicken out”. He sees every exercise as a challenge and wants to beat himself every time, even when it comes to warming up on the rowing machine where he now is doing two kilometers in eight minutes. James favourite exercise is incline dumbbell chest press, and his least favourite one is the elephant step (the big step up) and the rope pull up.
Best shape of his life
During his last 10 months of training James has definitely reached the best shape of his life, his fitness and health has improved which is noticeable both with work and home tasks being a lot easier. James can also keep up with the younger guys at work which is a great bonus. For the future he wants to continue to improve and his motto is to always be better than the last time.
