The parks in and around Sydney have some of the best workout stations available. There are many parks around Bondi with tonnes of possibilities for outdoor training sessions.
Christisen Park has a total of five stations, each with a variety of different equipment both fixed and movable equipment; ideal for adding an outdoor circuit to your fitness regime. Equipment includes an elliptical machine, rowing machine and cross trainer along with both flat and incline benches and bars.
Rushcutters Bay is a hive of activity in the mornings with exercisers taking full advantage of the fixed workout station that includes instruction on how to use the equipment. A short run or walk along the foreshore takes you to Yarranabbe Parks where you’ll find yet another station with spectacular views of the Bay.
Prince Alfred Park in Surry Hills has a one km running/walking path winding its way through the newly refurbished park. Dotted along the track and around the 7.5 hectares of parkland are a number of great work outstations. A swim in the outdoor heated pool is the perfect way to wind down after a hard workout.
