Top 10 Parks for exercising your dog in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs

Just about the most fun you can have exercising! Getting out and about with your best friend.

We’ve all heard about the health benefits of exercise for humans including improved cardiovascular fitness, lower blood pressure, stronger muscles and bones, decreased stress, better sleep, more energy and healthier aging. But did you know your dog reaps as many benefits from daily walking as you do. Overweight pets are prone to a number of chronic diseases. Regular exercise not only helps prevent obesity but reduces the risk of cardiovascular and liver disease along with osteoarthritis. Dogs are also naturally inquisitive creatures that love exploring sights, sounds and smells.  An under exercised pooch can easily become bored and destructive … something to be avoided at all costs!

Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs caters for all forms of exercise for you dog whether it be on the lead, off-lead or a nice walk along the coast. Sue is a Fitness Enhancement Trainer in East Sydney, she is a dog lover and gives us these tips on where to exercise with your dog.
