Introducing Fitness Enhancement’s Clients of the Month – Anita and Becky Lao!
Becky and Anita decided to take up Personal Training with Fitness Enhancement in March 2014. Becky’s high school formal was coming up in November and she needed to look fantastic in a dress, so Anita signed them both up for Personal Training – and that was the day life as they knew it ended… in a good way! “Becky needed support because she refused to do it herself,” Anita says. “I needed someone to motivate us. We had been to other gyms, but they all gave up on us… although I’m not too sure why.”
When they started, Becky adamantly states that she needed to lose weight to be in a healthy weight range for her age. “My looming Year 12 formal coming up in November was also a big motivator, and I wanted to look spectacular,” she says. Anita really wanted a healthier lifestyle and to become fitter initially, but has since achieved and discovered so much more!
“We are both A LOT more healthier, and have noticed that we have heaps more energy to burn. We feel more confident with ourselves, and have become so motivated that we have begun to exercise at home because we want to learn new exercises! We have pushed our limits further than we could have ever imagined while still having heaps of fun!”
Becky and Anita were delighted to find that the thing they love the most about Personal Training is that it’s actually really fun! There is lots of variety, and although they work hard and sweat it out, there is always time for a laugh. Becky’s favourite exercise is the leg press, and Anita likes the plank, because it is one exercise she feels she can do really well! On the other hand however, the have both come to the conclusion that Gorillas and Burpees are the worst exercises ever invented!
Their goals moving forward is for them both of them to stay on track to losing weight and eating healthy.
“Fitness Enhancement would have to be the only Personal Training or fitness facility that works us hard, puts up with our complaining and always leaves us laughing! We sometimes are a little sore for the next few days, but we always leave feeling like we have done ourselves proud, thanks to our trainers Hanna, Ida and Nat!”
