Personal Training for disability

Government funded Personal Training for eligible NDIS participants

Our Personal Trainers provide NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) funded Training to eligible participants because Fitness Enhancement is a registered NDIS provider! Instead of getting a gym membership, or trying to find your way around a busy public gym, which can be overwhelming and intimidating, working with a Fitness Enhancement Personal Trainer is 100% private. One-on-one sessions with a Personal Trainer give you a customised workout that is safe, effective and motivating, whilst also helping you to feel comfortable in a calm and private setting of your choice – home, one of our private studios, the local park – or wherever you like.

Whatever you need, we can provide

We have been working with clients of all abilities for 20 years, and we are proud to be able to offer a multitude of different options for people with many different needs. Some of our clients are just looking for a male mentor for their child, so one of our friendly Trainers can spend time going for a bike ride, shooting basketball or kicking a footy. Some clients come to us in wheelchairs and specifically want to increase their upper body strength. Some clients might be living with Cerebral palsy and need help with functional strength or weight loss. We have clients with down syndrome who enjoy working on hand-eye coordination, ball skills and improving muscle tone. Some of our clients with ASD or mental health issues find exercise is improving their self efficacy, self esteem and self confidence.

Holistic approach

We can work in conjunction with your other allied health professionals so we can give you a holistic approach to your training. If you are working with an Exercise Physiologist, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, dietician – we will collaborate to ensure a consistent approach to your health improvement! We understand that funding can be complicated, we are able to help you out. Your funding can cover you for different goals like improve flexibility, strength, fitness, manage weight, increase self esteem, increase self confidence and many more. These can fall under categories like improved health and wellbeing, innovative community participation and more! Whether you are plan managed, self managed, NDIA managed, or if you are not NDIS funded at all, we have options to work for you!
