The famous Bondi to Bronte coastal walk has something for everyone. Dotted with parks, workout stations and look out points to immerse yourself in, the breathtaking view of the ocean and coastline truly is one of the most spectacular walks on the East Coast of Australia.
What would a long walk be without the reward of a delicious breakfast at the end? Fitness Enhancement Trainer Sue Stedman gives you her best breakfast tips for Bronte Beach.
After walking the Bondi to Bronte coastal walk, one of my favourite breakfast places in Bronte is The Bogey Hole café. One of a number of cafes and restaurants on Bronte Road with direct views across the road to the beach, this is a standout not only for the consistently great food. The service is always friendly and efficient and the coffee some of the best in the area.
A must try on the breakfast menu is the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon on grain sourdough. The creamiest scrambled eggs are served with home made labne, salsa verde and crispy capers; a perfect combination when joined by the smoked salmon.
If eggs are not your thing, and you have a craving for something sweet without totally ruining the benefits of your walk you can’t go past the house made delicious granola with berries and yoghurt.
Top it all off with a freshly squeezed juice of your choice, a coffee and you’re sufficiently fuelled for the return trip home.
