Gaining back her Health
Belinda had been neglecting her health for a few years and gained weight after having her daughter. In October 2015 she decided it was time to get her health back on track. Her husband Simon was already doing Personal Training with our fabulous Trainer Ida, and was encouraging Belinda to check out Fitness Enhancement as it wasn’t like going to a big gym, it was a much more personal experience. The Personal Training Studio is 100% private, and there is also the option of having a PT in your home! Her initial goal was to be back to a healthy weight under 100kg, with a longer term goal of 70kg. Belinda also wanted to gain a good fitness level so she could buy and use a recreational kayak.
Weight loss and Increased Fitness
Since starting with Fitness Enhancement Belinda has lost 23kg and 76.8cm all over! Her fitness level and endurance when Training is always improving. She can now leg press 70kg, which is more than she ever imagined she could do! She is hoping that she can continue to maintain a strong fitness level and build good upper body strength for kayaking. Later in the year she is able to go skydiving as her blood pressure is now under control!
Role Model
Belinda really enjoys the 1:1 time she has for herself when she trains, and knowing that she is taking care of herself. She feels like she is now a better role model for her daughter, and as a side benefit, she is now a better boxer than her husband!

Belinda says:
“I am so pleased I got my act together and started doing PT and group studio sessions. Where I am at physically as well as mentally is amazing. For years I doubted myself and was too embarrassed to go to the gym. Now I have achieved goals which I didn’t think were possible an am excited about achieving more goals in the future. There’s a greater belief in myself and I know my future will be a healthier one.
Smashing these goals wouldn’t have been possible without my awesome Trainer Cassie!!! Not only does she push me physically at each session she also challenges me to trust more in myself and the strength I now have. Throughout my journey to a healthier lifestyle Cassie has been an amazing emotional support too.
There’s been ups and downs along the way but she always keeps me on track, she knows just what to say when I need it. I’ve started and stopped with exercise so many times in my life. Having such a personal approach is amazing. Cassie’s dedication and passion for my success has been absolute key to the achievement of my goals so far. The client experience at Fitness Enhancement is something quite unique, be it 1:1 with your trainer or in a group session – each one of the Trainers care about you personally and push you to achieve your goals, whatever they may be. This definitely plays a part for me as I’m not a self-starter or a gym person but having such a loving and friendly environment with trainers that treat you like more than just another client, it keeps you coming back again and again.”
