Support that works around the person

Every NDIS participant has different goals, abilities, support needs and ways they feel comfortable exercising. At Fitness Enhancement, we focus on making training feel personal, supportive and adapted to the person in front of us.

Through Fit Your Ability, our disability fitness and support division, we provide personal training, disability support and active support for NDIS participants. You may be looking to build strength, improve fitness, support routine, increase confidence, work on movement, or take part in exercise in a way that feels more comfortable and accessible.

Fitness Enhancement Personal Trainers

Personal training, disability support and active support

Fit Your Ability is our NDIS-registered personal training and disability support company, helping participants access support that may align with their individual plan, goals, funding and support needs.

Our personal trainers and support workers can support participants at home, in a local park, at a gym, in SIL accommodation, or in another agreed community setting. With services available across over 4,000 suburbs around Australia, we aim to make support more accessible for participants and families in many areas.

Sessions can be adapted around each person’s ability, confidence, communication style and goals. That may mean changing the pace of the session, adapting exercises, allowing time to build trust, or choosing an environment that feels less overwhelming.

Fitness Enhancement Personal Trainers

A more comfortable way to get active

Exercise should not feel like a one-size-fits-all program. For many participants, the right environment, pace, trainer or support worker relationship can make a big difference.

Fitness Enhancement began in 1999 with a passion for helping people who needed a more accessible and personal way to exercise. Today, through Fit Your Ability, we continue to support people across Australia with training and support that works around their needs. Our commitment to inclusive fitness was also recognised when Fit Your Ability won the AUSactive Most Inclusive and/or Diverse Program award.

Our focus is on helping each person feel supported, respected and included. Whether the goal is fitness, confidence, routine, participation or everyday movement, we work with the participant’s needs and support network where appropriate.
