Outdoor exercise

Alexander Clark park located in Loganholme is excellent for outdoor activities. It has some great facilities for anyone who likes to exercise outdoors; first of all it has some winding walking/running paths that go through some nice scenery such as native bush land. There are plenty of shady areas as well if you want to relax or if you are in to Yoga or just need to chill out after a hard run. Logan council has also provided exercise equipment in the park along the pathways for you to use while doing your walk or run so you can mix up your exercise, this is a great way of getting your heart rate up even more and maximise the results of your session.

Endless options

There is plenty of open areas to try some explosive training or if you have a group of people who also enjoy exercise, perhaps a game of footy is more your style. There are various ways of exercising within the park as you can utilise the facilities, there are benches and tables if you want to do some body weight exercises, stairs if you feel like doing some stair climbs and you could even use the wall of the public toilets for some medicine ball drills on a quiet day. Your four legged friends are welcome too if kept on a leash so if you want you can give them a bit of a workout as well while you go for run and maybe you can race them to see who is quicker.
