Fitness for everyone

NDIS funded Personal Training for people with a disability

Fitness Enhancement is proud to be an (National Disability Insurance Scheme) NDIS registered provider, this means that we are able to provide Government funded Personal Training through the NDIA (National Disability Insurance Agency) to eligible participants. We have qualified and friendly trainers who can some to you at home or at the local park – or really anywhere, wherever suits you the best. Compared to a gym membership, working one-on-one with a Personal Trainer gives you supervised and specifically tailored sessions for your unique needs, it’s 100% private, we give coaching and motivation as well as help to ensure you are safe while you exercise.

Health benefits for all abilities

Exercise has a wide variety of health benefits, both physical and mental. We work with clients from many different backgrounds and with a variety of different conditions, where exercise has been beneficial for different reasons. We work with clients with Autism or Asperger’s who simply benefit from camaraderie or having a male mentor to give them support and encouragement to exercise. We have clients in wheelchairs who train upper body and love boxing for fitness. Clients with cerebral palsy who use training to improve their functional strength. Clients with down syndrome who can increase their muscle tone and improve body composition. Clients with mental health issues who improve their self-esteem and self-confidence through fitness and social interactions.

Training to suit everyone

We can provide NDIS funded Personal Training for a variety of reasons and under different line items depending on what your funding includes, this might be for health benefits, community participation or other. We can work in conjunction with your Exercise Physiologist, Physiotherapist, Occupational therapist or other Allied Health Professionals to put together a holistic approach that suits you the best. We can work with people of all ages including children, teens and adults. Whether you are plan-managed, self-managed, NDIA-managed, or even if you do not currently have NDIS funding – we have different Training options and we CAN help you!
