Press release

Fitness Enhancement has been chosen as one of the finalists for ‘Personal Training Business of the Year’!

Personal Training business of the year

After months of judging, it’s now down to five outstanding businesses from around the country, with Fitness Enhancement being the only QLD finalist. The winner will be announced on the 11th of April 2019 at a Fitness Australia awards dinner in Sydney.

Fitness Enhancement CEO Scott Hunt says:

“We’ve spent 20 years helping people live a fitter and healthier life and we are so proud to have the hard work of our team recognised as one of the best in the country by our governing body. Along with the other fantastic finalists, we’re looking forward to showing Australia how many amzing fitness businesses there are to help you achieve your goals no matter where you started from!”

Scott has created his own niche in a crowded industry, Fitness Enhancement 100% private™ Personal Training. Clients train in a 100% private Studio or in the convenience of their own home to cater to the wide array of people who don’t feel comfortable going to a Gym.  Whilst most clients are simply everyday Aussies who want to get in shape without the hassle of a Gym,  Fitness Enhancement has also helped clients lose up to 100kg and is also NDIS registered and works with many disabled clients.

Scott began Fitness Enhancement 20 years ago as a 19-year-old with just $400 and a passion for helping people who didn’t like the Gym scene, or didn’t have time for it achieve their goals. Now, Fitness Enhancement is the largest in QLD and third largest Personal Training company in Australia and has franchises across much of Australia and has also expanded into many other areas such as NDIS Personal Training for the disabled. Scott’s original Studio location in Nerang and Mobile Trainers across the Gold Coast, which served as the proving ground to expand Australia-wide, is the award finalist.

Fitness Australia is the national health and fitness industry association which exists to empower over 22,000 fitness professionals to get more Australian’s, more active, more often.  CEO of Fitness Australia Barrie Elvish says:

“The Australian Fitness Awards provide a fantastic opportunity for businesses and individuals to be acknowledged for their contribution to the industry and the impact they have in their communities. The achievements of our 2019 finalists demonstrate their commitment and pride in supporting their clients to lead an active and healthy lifestyle for better health.”
