Phil – Karate Black Belt and Passionate Personal Trainer

Phil Personal TrainerPhil is a Melbourne local, he grew up around the Heidleburg area and is now based in the Eastern suburbs in Lilydale. When Phil was in his early 20s, he felt that he was a bit skinny and wanted to gain some muscle, that’s when he started hitting the gym. Over some time Phil really started to love his time spent in the gym, he loved the way it made him feel after each session, and the way it enhanced his lifestyle.

Martial Artist and musician

Phil started training in martial arts and worked his way right up to a second band black belt in karate. He is now accredited and sometimes teaches some karate classes. Phil is also a passionate musician, he plays guitar, particularly Blues Rock, and he teaches guitar lessons in his spare time. A common thread Phil has found is his passion for teaching people and helping people make positive lifestyle changes, whether it is through martial arts, or the enjoyment of music. Phil decided to become a Personal Trainer because it combined his passion for teaching with his passion and enjoyment of physical training.

Passionate PT

Phil has been Personal Training for 4 years and has had the pleasure of training all kinds of clients, from teenagers right up to 80-year-old clients. He has helped many clients change their lifestyle, with weight loss, muscle gain, making positive nutrition changes, increase their health, confidence and move their bodies better. Phil likes to use a variety of functional training and kickboxing for fitness to keep sessions dynamic and interesting. His favourite part about being a PT is interacting with the clients.
