Daisy Hill Conservation Park
Daisy Hill Conservation Park also known as Daisy Hill Forest is an enormous park with many different areas and option for a great family fun day out and many different fun fitness areas to utilise. The park is located at the top of Daisy Hill Road just five minutes from our Boot Camps and Personal Trainers in Springwood. The gates open at 7:00am daily and close 5:30pm from 15th of March to 14th of October and 6:30pm from 15thof October to the 14th of March.
There is a Koala Centre located within the park, which is open from 10:00am to 4:00pm daily. This centre is wheel chair accessible. There is plenty of other wildlife around in the park to see like kangaroos, bush turkeys, lizards, all different kinds of birds and many others.
There are many different picnic areas located within the park with fully equipped BBQ’s and undercover seating areas, so you can enjoy a nice BBQ lunch with the family. Some areas have an open grassed area to have a good old Aussie game of cricket. There are also lots of parking at the different areas within the park. Dogs are also welcome in the park however must stay on a lead.

There are many options for those who like to keep fit as well. There are bush walking tracks which anyone can do at any fitness level, running tracks for those that like to run and bike tracks for the more adventurous type, own bikes needed. There is also a fire trail which can also be utilised as a running track and in case of a fire emergency. These are a great way to start off the day with an awesome cardio workout with excellent views.
All in all this park would make a great day out for anyone at any age and any fitness level whether on your own or with a Daisy Hill Personal Trainer. Start the day off with a nice walk or run along the tracks, then maybe check out the Koala Park, then have a nice healthy BBQ lunch and game of cricket, this would be perfect for an active family day out on the weekend and don’t forget the dog.
