Fitness Enhancement Aspley is proud to introduce the latest addition to our team, Trainer Emilie!
From a professional athlete to a highly qualified Trainer
Emilie was born in Lyon (France) where sport and particularly football (soccer) was part of her everyday life. At age 16 she accepted a scholarship to America to play football. After a thrilling year as a Centennial High School a Team player, she came back home and was selected to play for the prestigious Olympique Lyonnais football club. During her 4 seasons at the club they won the French cup (2003).
Pursuing her love for sport she completes her Bachelor of Human Movement and Master of Exercise Science at the University LYON 1 STAPS (Science and Technology of Physical Activities and Sport). These qualifications ensure you are getting one the highest educated Personal Trainers you are likely to see!
Finding her passion
Further to this she spent 4 years as a Manager/Fitness Trainer at Keep Cool Fitness Centre (France), where Emilie had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients from the professional athlete, to the mum who wants a more active lifestyle with her child. Having experienced elite competition herself, she knows that adapted physical activity is correlated to a healthy lifestyle and is paramount to be and feel at our best. For Emilie, training people is not only about helping them achieve their goals, but also improving their overall quality of life.
Moving to Australia where sport is such an important part of the country’s life, it seemed natural to expand her knowledge, and share her experience.
Emilie’s passion is to guide the client to achieve their personal goals. She has no doubt that assisting a person to realize their potential is the best feeling you can ever have as a Personal Trainer and as a human being. After working in a Fitness Centre where “more is better” (to the detriment of the client and the clients results), she is thrilled to be back to her prime interest, YOU! We are pleased to say that Emilie specifically chose Fitness Enhancement due to its reputation for putting clients goals as the number one priority.
Emilie says:
“If you want to do it, do it right. Once a decision is made to do something, you have to do it properly. No short cuts, all the way to the end, no quitting!”
