Meet our mobile Personal Trainer Steve who made his passion for sports and an active lifestyle in to a career as a Trainer.
Soccer and American football
Steve is born and bred in Brisbane and is one of our mobile Personal Trainers on the north side. Growing up Steve played soccer for eight years and at 16 he joined a senior men division competing against 25 year olds. At the same time he was also playing rugby union for four years, spending a lot of his time going back and forth between training and games, sometimes all on the same days! One of Steve’s biggest achievements was winning the player of the year award in his last year of playing soccer. These days Steve is playing American football and putting in a lot of work in the gym, he is able to dead lift three times his body weight!
The best thing with being a Trainer
After finishing school, Steve was certain he wanted to make his passion for an active life style into a career and took the step to become a Personal Trainer. Before starting with Fitness Enhancement a year and a half ago, Steve worked at a local gym which was a great experience giving him vital knowledge and improving his training skills both personally and professionally. The best thing with being a trainer is for Steve the big variation of clients and goals that they all have; in the one day you can have someone that wants to lose weight, someone that is training for a marathon, and also someone that is doing rehabilitation after an accident. Steve’s training style is a mix of weights and strength training with short bursts of high intensity cardio.
