Hope Island – Saltwater Park

Saltwater Park, Hope Island is located on the corner of Halcyon Way and Helensvale Rd not far from the Hope Island Resort Golf Course. The park is situated next to Saltwater Creek and surrounds a small lake. At the southern end of the park is a dog excerise area. Saltwater Park Dog Exercise Area

If you’re looking for a new spot to take your furry pal and let them off the leash, Saltwater Park offers a large, fully fenced dog exercise area, which also contains a small water hole for the summer if your pup likes a little splash or swim. Just be aware the REST of the park prohibits dogs, so don’t try to take them outside the fenced area, as it is a protected wetland.

If you want to give yourself a bit of exercise while your doggo has a run and a splash here’s a few ideas.

  • Squats or lunges on the spot
  • Push ups against the fence
  • Play fetch and alternate throwing arm
  • Play fetch by kicking a ball – alternate legs
  • Pop pup back on the leash and go for a jog through the surrounding neighbourhood
