Outdoor Velodrome
The outdoor velodrome is approximately 300 m around the outside. It’s a great place to do some bike training, not least due to the lack of any traffic, but also because it’s a pretty easy to use velodrome – none of those crazy steep slopes you see on some velodromes! It’s ideal for some cross training, as detailed below. Just ensure you remember the following key tips when using the velodrome:
- keep to the right unless overtaking
- always indicate with your hands when moving
- be respectful of fellow riders
- Follow the one way arrows (anti clockwise!)
