Outdoor workout
So rather than burning daylight while waiting for a spin bike at your local gym, why not burn some calories in the park with this workout!
All you need is friend, some runners and boxing gloves/pads!
This workout is called Reverse Accumulation. The aim is to start strong, and the workout gradually get easier as the number of reps drop each round.
Reverse Accumulation
1.Mark out a 50m length using a cone, water bottle, shoe or whatever you have handy.
2.The first round will consist of a sprint/run/jog (whatever your fitness level dictates) out to the 50m marker and back. As soon as you are back conduct the following:
30 jab /cross
30 upper cuts (alternating hands)
30 hooks (alternating hands)
Suited for all fitness levels
3.The second round will be exactly the same only this time it will be 28 reps of each.
4.This process continues, with the reps decreasing by 2 each round, until you can reach 10 reps of each. Record the time it took to achieve, then try and beat it next time!
