Try giving this workout a go. All you need is the free fitness equipment, your body weight and your runners.
The workout is conducted as a circuit with decreasing reps each time through and is designed to hit every muscle in your body while cranking your metabolism and melting away body fat. The first round will be either 15 or 10 reps (dictated by your personal fitness level) for each exercise and will drop by one for each subsequent round. Rest when needed, drink water often and record you time on completion so you can aim to smash it next time! Here goes…
- Body rows (using the rings provided or the parallel bars)
- Push ups (On the flat bench, or on the ground depending on your personal fitness level)
- Knee raises (conducted sitting on edge of flat bench)
- Dips (conducted on parallel bars… if unable to conduct dips, aim to hold the up position for 15 seconds)
- 200m run (100m out and back using the bike track located parallel to the fitness station)
- Repeat and drop the reps by one each time through!
