About Scott Hunt

Scott Hunt’s journey from starting Fitness Enhancement at 19 in 1999 with just $400 to becoming the CEO of Fitness Enhancement one of Australia’s largest personal training companies and Fit Your Ability the country’s largest NDIS-registered fitness business is a testament to his determination, continuous learning, and commitment to inclusivity.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Business with a Major in Sports Management, which he completed part-time while growing Fitness Enhancement from the ground up. He has a Certificate III and IV in Fitness, alongside decades of ongoing education in the fitness industry.

In 2016, Scott’s innovation and leadership in the fitness sector were recognized when he was named the Gold Coast Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Over his 25-year career, he has relentlessly focused on expanding Fitness Enhancement, making fitness accessible to all, regardless of their abilities. As an advocate for inclusivity, Scott frequently speaks at industry conferences, sharing his vision for a more inclusive future and inspiring other businesses to reach their full potential.

From 2016 to 2019, Scott further demonstrated his commitment to the industry by serving as a council member for the industry governing body, Fitness Australia (now known as AUSactive). His contributions during this period reflect his dedication to shaping the fitness industry for the better.

Fitness Enhancement Personal Trainers

Scott’s experience extends beyond conventional personal training. He began martial arts in 1995 and owned and operated the Final Contact Muay Thai gym from 1999 to 2009. Over 15 years of personally training clients, Scott conducted over 20,000 personal training sessions and 2,000 Muay Thai classes, his very first client still trains with his team today. 

Since 2009, Scott has dedicated himself to building and supporting his team of personal trainers, ensuring that Fitness Enhancement remains at the forefront of the industry.

Scott Hunt has been married to his wife Cathy for 20 years. Cathy is a school teacher, education consultant, and international keynote presenter, specializing in creativity and digital technology in the classroom. Together, they have two children.

Outside of business and family, Scott enjoys a wide range of water-based hobbies. Over the past 30 years, he has been involved in kiteboarding, windsurfing, wakeboarding, paddle boarding, surfing, jet skiing, and boating. His passion for taking on a new challenge on the water has been a constant since he was 15 years old.
