Say goodbye to 2020 and start 2021 off with a new fresh perspective on your health! Here are 8 fit tips on how to do this with simple little changes and challenges!
1. Set a specific and measurable goal
If you don’t know what your goal is, and you don’t know how to measure if you have reached it, the likelihood of you getting there isn’t very big. Instead, set a specific goal and decide how you are going to measure your progress.
2. Remove all the bad foods from your fridge
Easy done; if it’s not there, you won’t eat it. If you argue that you are throwing away money by shucking all that bad food out, we can argue that you are shucking out your health if you eat it!
3. Set weekly mini-goals
Don’t try and change EVERYTHING at once, it is a whole lot easier if you change one thing at a time. Set yourself weekly goals of things you want to change and new habits you want to create, it will make the process a lot easier.
4. Eat breakfast every day
This is an easy one, just do it.
5. Take it slow and make permanent changes
You have a much higher chance of succeeding if you change a few things at a time and make sure you are managing your first new habits before you start changing more, focus on the long term because life is not a short term thing.
6. Fill up on vegetables
Vegetables are low calorie and filling, plus they contain heaps of fiber, minerals, and vitamins! Fill up on them so you won’t overeat on snacks.
7. Bring a friend to the gym
If you are struggling with motivation for exercise, make a gym date with your friend or spouse. It is way harder to skip a session you have booked with someone else (although it should be just as important when you are doing it on your own!), so instead of a coffee date, go for a power walk.
8. Never do the same workout twice
To avoid getting bored, to get better results, and to keep it interesting; never do the same workout twice! If you need help with that, our trainers are here to come up with new workouts for every session and you will never do the same routine twice!
