Cross trainer and Rowing machine
To begin your workout, walk down the path next to the playground to the Redland City Council exercise equipment area, on the left next to the lake.
To get your muscles ready for peak performance, let’s start with a warm-up on this cool cross trainer machine. Place your feet firmly on the footpads and row with your arms while running on the spot. A steady pace for 3 โ 5 minutes should get you warmed up. Remember, if you haven’t exercised for a while, start off easy and add time as you get fitter.
Now you’re warmed up, let’s work the large muscles of your back with some seated rows on this awesome rowing machine. 3 sets of 10 to 15 rows ought to work your back well. If you haven’t exercised for a while, start with just one set and add more sets as you get better.
Standing push-ups
After doing a little cardio and having worked your back, let’s round this simple free workout off by working our chest and triceps. Head over to the nearby bench and do some standing push-ups. Face the bench, and place your palms on the bench about shoulder-width apart. With your feet around 1 meter away from the bench, lean forward and lower your chest to the bench, then do a push-up. Again 3 sets of 10 โ 15 should give you a nice light workout.
Cool down
Now you’re finished, cool off with a lovely leisurely stroll along some of the paths that run along Tingalpa Creek.
