From Burma to Brisbane
Noan grew up in Burma (Myanmar) – right next to Thailand. She moved to Australia in 2006 to study her Masters of Business – Marketing, at Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane. She’s always had an interest in health and fitness, and after a few years in the marketing industry, Noan realised that her true passion was at the gym!
Changing habits
When she was young Noan says she had a very bad habit of skipping meals and not eating the right kinds of food. As she’s gotten older and learned more about health and fitness she has managed to find a healthy balance with both her exercise and her nutrition. She is proud of the fact that she has not taken any sick days since 2002. She says ‘I definitely feel stronger and more energetic as I age which I attribute to strength training.’
Moving into Fitness
Noan started out in the sales industry, and was a Sales Manager with an online retailer where she was able to use her degree in Marketing. She found herself giving fitness and exercise advice to friends and family, which got her interested in Personal Training. Noan loved training herself and strongly believed that she could inspire and motivate people to live a healthier lifestyle. Shortly after this Noan obtained her Certificate 3 and 4 in Fitness, and found that Fitness is her passion and she loves to work for passion, not money. Noan began as a Personal Trainer for Fitness Enhancement in January 2016, and things were going so well that by July she decided to take the plunge and become her own boss – investing in a Fitness Enhancement Franchise based in Mitchelton in Brisbane. She now works with a variety of client with different injuries and fitness levels. Many of her clients have been training with her right from the beginning!
Noan says ‘I love to offer a service/product that I truly believe in, and I know that If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life!’
Training Style and Personality
Noan’s favourite style of training is interval and strength training. Her favourite part of being a Personal Trainer is being able to support/motivate/inspire others to change their lives and playing an important role in someone’s life
